Local Time Brewing blends a love of travel, beer, storytelling, & camaraderie.
Founded in 2022 by husband-and-wife team Chris and Kelly, Local Time Brewing was born from a shared love of travel, beer, and the stories that bring people together. Our beers draw inspiration from brewing traditions, ingredients, and cultures around the world—each one telling a story of its own, just like the people who enjoy them. Each beer has a journey to share, as do all people who come in for a pint (or two).
Inspired by global brewing techniques, ingredients, and cultures, our beers each have a unique story to share—just like the people who enjoy them.
Picture sipping a crisp lager on the Ionian coast, sharing a pint of smoky stout with friends in a Dublin pub, or relaxing in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a bright, hoppy IPA in hand. Wherever you go, beer has a way of connecting people through life, laughter, and culture.

At the heart of Local Time Brewing’s globally inspired beers is Brewmaster Devin, whose passion for both life and craft shines through in every pint. Known for his award-winning Ambers, Devin began brewing in 2010, earned top marks at IDB in 2011, and has been a leading presence in the Triangle beer community ever since.
His approach reflects the same values that Chris and Kelly built Local Time upon—storytelling, culture, camaraderie, and the joy of discovery. For Devin, each beer is more than a drink; it’s an experience, a journey, and a story waiting to be shared.
I love storytelling and music. Like a good beer, a good story has a depth of personality, history, character, and often a hint of mystery. Like a great song, it can be a simple note or a complex harmony; there are lows, break-downs, and crescendos (of flavor). Beer has to work across the palette. There’s a reason behind every ingredient.
